The Future of our world, starts with our youth

Vehicle maintenance

Vehicle maintenance provides skills in how to change a tire, how to jump start a battery and basic vehicle care.

life saving skills

Local police and fire departments provide possible life saving skills and knowledge to be prepared for real life crisis. CPR is another vital skill provided.

Credit Education

Credit is taught by a credit specialist to provide a skill necessary to help in life choices that could make a positive or negative impact on the rest of your life financially.

Home and kitchen safety

Home and kitchen safety ensures the teens receive skills to prepare them for living on their own and safely managing their home and all that comes with such a responsibility.

Banking and money management

Banking and money management assists teens in learning how to handle their funds in an optimal way and how a checking account and bank play a role in managing your money.

Human Resources

Human Resources provides knowledge in regards to all things job related and what breaks down what your paycheck is going to look like.

Peer Pressure

is a course that aims to help with the overwhelming stress of being a teen and making the right choices to stay safe and healthy.

Etiquette

Etiquette is an important life skill to utilize in all aspects of life and ensure the knowledge of the golden rule-treat others as you would have them treat you.

Partner With Us to Empower Teens

Join Life Skills for Teens in our mission to equip young people with essential life skills! We’re seeking partner sites to host our transformative workshops, helping teens in your community gain confidence and practical knowledge for adulthood. By providing a space for our programs, you’ll make a lasting impact and gain recognition for your support.
 
  • What Makes a Great Location?
    • – 2–4 large rooms to accommodate varying numbers of teen participants.
    • – A kitchen area or space for serving breakfast and lunch.
    • – Tables, chairs, and a TV or screen for PowerPoint presentations.
    • – A parking area large enough to demonstrate vehicle maintenance (e.g., jump-starting a car, changing a tire) with two vehicles.

  • What Can You Expect When Hosting an Event?
    • – Schedule: Setup begins at 8:00 AM, with workshops running from 9:00 AM to 4:00–5:00 PM, including a lunch break around 12:30 PM.
    • – Format: Classes may rotate between rooms or stay in one, depending on the number of teens.
    • – Team: A respectful, professional group committed to cleanliness, safety, and care of your facilities.
    • – Benefits: Optional shout-outs on our social media channels to promote your venue.

  • Will Cleanup Be Required?
    • – No cleanup needed! We ensure the location is returned to its original condition, leaving your space as we found it.
